Running a conduit in ground for future, any underground box?

Doing my landscape in my yard. Debating on adding some pole lights possibly in the future. Have an idea where they might go, so running some conduit now while I’m trenching.
Question is, what should I put in the ground to get access to it later? They make any type of box that the conduit can connect to under ground with like a lid?

What I would do is lay pvc conduit in the ground and just cap the end of it to keep water and dirt out. Mark the location of the end of the pipe so you know where it is, and then you can dig up the end of the conduit in the future and run it to your light pole.

Is there an area in your yard....flower bed, or such...where you could run a 90* up and cap the conduit or install a box. Unless you take measurements from at least two fixed points it’s difficult to find the buried box later.

I usually just cap and bury any extras. I leave a note on the other end saying where it goes. Can always stick a metal fish tape in it and locate it if you need to dig it up later.

You can't bury a box. The cover needs to be accessible.

I did this exact thing when I built my house and shop. I ran the conduit up, capped it and then placed one of these over it so I knew where it was and so it didn’t look like **** until it was time to finish it.
