Running electricity to shed

I have 2-#6, 1-#10, 2-#12 in conduit run out to my shed, I just want to know what size breaker I will need as to not over load. Why I ran what I have I'm not sure, I think the #12 were so I could have a light switch in the house to turn a light on in the shed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. EDIT the run to the shed is about 100'.

I have 5 wires. 2-6's, an 10 and 2-12's. If I used all but one of the 12 it would work, correct? Also if that would work what amps? Thank you sberry for your help.

The neutral needs to be sized accordingly, as sberry mentioned. You need the #10 (preferably green) as your ground wire. I suggest you use one of the #12 wires as a pull wire, and then pull in the # 8 neutral and enough #12s to make a three way switch.

Lets forget the 12'a to start with, for the power you need 4 wires. As for switching lights these days there are so many better options. Motions or low lever flor's on photo cell

If I pull a 8 in it somehow, what size breaker? edit: I was thinking "Oh no lol" could I tie the two 12's together and use them instead of the 8 for my neutral and then just use my 10 as a ground? I don't need a switch at the house for a light a the shed. Thanks again.

Code forbids tying two wires together (parallel) to increase the circuit amp capacity (or for any reason) unless the wires are 1/0 or better (CU or AL) (NEC 310.4).

Would it be safe? since it is only a neutral. I thought that the neutral and the ground were pretty much the same thing (the ground being precautionary or emergency) I am new to electrical and will get help, just trying to get things straightened out in my head first. Thanks

Its also not code to use wire of any color but white or grey in conduit for neutral. If its in a jacketed cable you can remark the ends, but loose, individual wires in conduit, it is not allowed to remark another color for a neutral......... IIRC, cannot find it right now in the code.

That rule is for #6 and smaller, for grounds and neutrals. 200.6 250.119(A)

I'm not really concerned about colors as long as I know. Ive had them hooked up temp for a few years, I just wanted to get a little better setup. All five wires are in 1" pvc conduit 100' straight run with only two 90's where it goes into the ground and where it comes out. Could I pull the right wires in at that distance?
