Running new circuits from panel up through eve vent

From the responses to my question about adding breakers it looks like I can do it.
Question: My panel is mounted on an exterior wall directly under an eve vent (where the rafters meet the top plate).

I can't come through the back of the panel for a couple of reasons- spaces are used up & it backs to a finished interior wall and I want the new circuits in the attic anyway.

Can I knock out the 2" knockout on the side of the panel , install an LB
& go up 2' (+-) to the eve vent & use a 45 degree fitting to go through the vent to run the new circuits (probably 2 #12 & 2 #14 romex at max) . I would use 2" sched. 80 pvc. and run it something like a foot or do into the attic past the vent. It would be open at the attic end and also at the panel end so it shouldn't have any heating issues. The attic area is dry and hasn't had any rodent problems. There is existing romex in the attic near where I would like to run the new circuits, but it was run when the house was built and the walls were open so once I can get the new run in it should be fine.

Is the method I described proper and legal or?

It's against the Code to use Romex outdoors.
It would need to be type UF cable.

Either run conduit all the way from panel to inside of attic or use uf-b like alfred said...

Just trying to understand- so if I ran the same route as described, but used the uf-b cable from the panel to the attic instead of standard romex throught the sched 80 pvc, then I can do it ?
So as not to have any more joints than necessary could I continue it on to wire the
circuit with? If so, problem solved! If not at least to a junction box & go from there? I don't mind the increased cost- it's a one time thing. The electrical has to be correct
I'm re doing a hack job done by a handyman long ago before I owned it. For the ceiling fans he just cut in the MIDDLE of a run, spliced in the new wire, twisted & taped it- no nuts, no boxes. Criminal.

Really thank all of you for your help! Just want to do it correctly, not necessarily the easiest way. The combined knowledge here is incredible.

Yes, u could run UF-b the whole way. Just make sure your boxes are sized properly for the added thickness of the cable. I would prefer conduit that way if something needs to be added or changed later its a lot easier...
