Thought I would share a little about my garage. We moved an old house from town out to 10 acres of land, it was previously just a corn field. We added on a garage a couple of years after we moved the house, about 10 years ago. The garage is 26' wide and 30' deep. It is always evolving into a more organized space. I am continually trying to throw things away, I can accumulate so much junk incredibly fast. This site has inspired me many times to make changes to my garage. Hope you enjoy some pics. I hope to also post some of my acreage and some of the things I work on in my garage. Thanks for looking.

Some more pics of the garage. You'll probably notice that these and the ones in my first post were not all taken at the same time. Like I said things are always changing a bit. I have included a picture of what garage fridge looks like after a run to store, it never seems to look like that way very long though. Also pictured is two of our pets, Coda and Lucy, they are usually inside or close by when the garage door is open.

Thats a great looking shop. It looks like you have a spa in there. I have a Sundance Spa on my deck that is about the size of yours. Your shop is a bit bigger than mine which is 20X30 ft. The extra width sure makes a nice difference!
Thank you for posting.

Doesn't it get pretty cold in the winter with no insulation?

It does get cold in there. I debate insulating it every winter. But the hot tub is much more enjoyable when it is cold in there. So as long as the hot tub is in there I probably won't insulate it. My house is still undergoing renovations, kinda never ending, and I so I work inside most of the winter.

Here are some pictures looking south from my porch. I typically bale this once during the summer and then fence it in for our pasture pets. The area being baled is about 4 acres.

The next few pictures are from the back of my acreage. I have a neighbor just to the north of me and you can see his tan shed in one of the pictures. I planted this grove about 12 years ago, a couple winters back I lost numerous evergreens. You can see some of the tree trunks still standing. I have been pretty proud of my grove, I have a lot of sweat into it. I planted all the trees and the grass. I really enjoy mowing this area, no cell phones, and no distractions. The trees take up about 2 acres and the picture with old shed in it is another acre. The old shed is on the neighbors property and is right on the property line. You can see my white shed and the back of my house in one of the pictures. Hope that all makes sense... thanks for looking.

Sorry some of the posts haven't been very garage related, but here are some of the pasture pets that hang out around our place. We typically have anywhere from 4-12 ponies around. I have a neighbor to the West of me and you can see his place in one of the pictures.

The brown "table" in the middle of the garage had me fooled! Glad you confirmed it was a hot tub!

Nobody said a garage was only for mechanical horses -- the hairy kind are OK, too.
