That’s a fantastic story! I had no idea Japan had tough restrictions on car modifications. That’s also a shame to hear how small the show has become. I had an apartment behind the Meijer across the road and we’d walk over to the show every Saturday during the summer. I’m back on the west side of Cincinnati now but still venture that way every couple of months for a Rural King visit. Nice to meet another local!

I was in there today. There must have been 30 people in the gun dept. waiting for their background check to come through.
I have 5 acres over by Reily so I am in Hamilton's "west side" several times a week.

We have on Rural King about 20 minutes away. Been in there a couple times to buy guns and ammo. Went there last week looking for a new gun for the wife, and I decided to walk through the whole store. They have a vast array of everything in there. I like it WAY better than TSC.

Yeah I was there last week for black friday weekend. Not as many deals as years past. And like others have said, their restocking is pretty bad. But it's my favorite place for guns, ammo, bulk hardware and cheap oil! Oh and they have the best prices during the summer on 5lb bags of peanuts.

I like RK much better than TSC, and often I find myself choosing RK over Farm and Fleet too.. we have one local to us and I'm in there all the time. The only drawback is, ours looks like a bomb went off in there, in damn-near every other aisle. Pallets of merchandise that need to be unpacked, piles of other merchandise that are in the process of being relocated, just a general disarray... all the time. The general manager should be ashamed of themselves. It's so bad, that after many years of this, I just assumed they were all like this.

Until last month... I was in a town about three hours away and was pleasantly surprised to discover there was a location there. so we stopped in to see if they had what we needed. That store was so neat and organized, that we stayed in there and wandered around the whole store for over an hour and ended up spending about $250 over what we initially stopped in for. It was refreshing to actually be able to find exactly what we were looking for, so quickly.

Made the 70 mile trek to the nearest store today. Overall I was impressed. The store was a mess and had a lot of bare spots on the shelves. But given the time of year I fully understand. Will have to go again to enjoy all it's glory.
