Just cleaned new garage floor prepping for Rust Bullet tomorrow.
Question - can I do the 2 coats of Rust Bullet, then apply flakes.
And not apply a clear coat?

I remember when I did Epoxy-Coat about 8 yrs ago it was 1 coat, flakes, no clear.
Thanks

You can, but it's not ideal. Rust Bullet is thinner than most epoxy coatings and the flakes may not sink in far enough to really adhere well. You may experience a lot of flake loss over the years in high traffic areas. The clear coat does a good job of locking them in and protecting them.

Rust Bullet, like any coating does much better if you use clear on top of flake. I have a friend who did not and it looks ok a couple years later, but not great. Rust Bullet is thinner than epoxy as well, so the clear is even more important
