Will RB fill and hide 1/8" cracks? I would initially apply RB to the crack using a brush, then roll 2-3 coats of the product. My floor is smooth and level but has several 1/16" cracks and a few 1/8" cracks. Some cracks are 15' long. I also considered flakes to help hide the cracks. Comments appreciated. Thank you.

I used three or four coats of RB ... I can't remember.

It did NOT fill the expansion saw cuts which are probably a little bigger than your 1/8" cracks. I would follow the recommendation of DoItMyselfToo if you went to do the best job of eliminating the cracks. Once I started working with RB I thought it would fill the saw cuts, but didn't. I didn't use a brush to fill with ... but I put lots of RB on the roller and tried to "work" the RB into the cracks ... but that didn't do the job.

How many SF are doing? I would suggest going with four coats ... I think that is what I did. I put five coats on the new plywood floor of the race trailer and I can still see the heads of the screws.

All in all, I like Rust Bullet. Happy with it.

When you look as the DFT/coat of Rust Bullet and the 30% +/- solvents necessary to have it spread right (which still makes it a high solids urethane) using it to fill any crack makes no sense. It will cover a hairline fracture... thats it.

Good info - who's Rust Bullet floor has been down the longest and any issues?

emc2 has had the longest application, well before we started selling it, and has multiple threads praising it. Great product. Not always my first choice. Depends on circumstance
