I'm planning on FINALLY pulling the trigger on Rust Bullet for my 720 sf garage. I have a couple of questions regarding Rust Bullet.
1.) I understand the suggestion is for all flame sources to be extinguished. I have a gas hot water heater and a furnace in my garage. Turning off the hot water for several days could make this unpopular project an undo-able one in the eyes of my wife. Is there any way around this? Anybody have experience installing Rust Bullet in a a garage with an an active gas hot water heater?
2.) I noticed in most of the case studies and demos that a primer was not used. I was planning on using one but that would bring my total number of coats to 5. 1x Primer, 2x basecoat (flakes), then 2x clear shot coats. Thoughts on not using primer?
Thanks in advance for any wisdom you can share. I have already learned a ton from this forum.
