Did the floor of my garage with Rust Bullet last weekend. Very happy with the results! Turned out awesome. Shout out to Justin @ Garage Flooring LLC for all the help along the way. Class act and grrat to deal with.

Looks great. I have all the supplies in my garage ready to be applied when I can get away from work for a few days. Any advice you can share? Did you grind the floor or just acid wash?

Thanks

The big selling point to Rust Bullet is that you do not need to acid etch or grind your floor as long as you don't have a sealer or power troweled finish.

Thanks all! Only prep I did was make sure the floor was as clean and dust and dirt free as I could get it. I was a fresh pour a little more then a month old. Make sure you wear a good respirator!!! Especially with the clear. The fumes on that are insane!!!

Great job...looks amazing! Is that 2 coats of base and 2 of clear? Just curious on the number of coats as I'll be installing Rust Bullet on my garage floor once the weather in Seattle is a little more predictable..besides rain that is.

I take it the power trowel finish is to smooth and it won't stick? This is a nice looking product, kinda want it on my floor.

I was almost set on just any old floor paint because of my welding and grinding habits. My thought about that was easy touchup in the future.

2 coats of base and 2 coats of clear. Second coat of clear has the tabular alumini anti skid mixed in.

My floor was power trowel smooth finish. No issues.

I love the looks of the paint chips but I want 1 smooth consistent color so when I drop something I can find it.

That looks very nice. What is the cure time on it before you can park on it?
Full cure time is 72 hours. I extended that time before I parked on it because of doing other things in the building.
