Rust Bullet

New member here and seeking some advice on Rust Bullet application.

I have a two car garage shed (approx 40m2 or 430ft2) with a concrete slab floor with a previous coating (looks like a grey paving paint that has worn under sunlight, hot tyre pickup etc) that has worn away. I suspect I will need to diamond grind the slab to remove the existing coating and then there are a few rust and oil spots and a couple of cracks that I will need to fill and smooth over before I can think about applying a coating.

I was originally set on applying the Legacy Industrial Nohr-S coating but unfortunately that product is not available in Australia.

This leads me to my backup option, Rust Bullet, which is available in Australia. When I contacted the distributor I got the impression they don't stock the 'concrete' version of Rust Bullet though and were recommending the Industrial/Automotive versions for concrete.

Can I get users' thoughts on applying one coat of the Rust Bullet Gold Industrial and then a second coat of the WhiteShell colorshot with a slip additive mixed in. I gather I will need approx 1 gallon or a little more per coat for my intended floor area. Will this Industrial version provide similar performance to the 'concrete' specific blend? I want a strong bond, UV stable, high gloss etc.

Thoughts on my intended path based on what is available to me would be greatly appreciated.

Long story made short. Almost all of the original testimonials here on the site were using the 'gold' version. Adding a little bit of solvent goes a long way to improving the installation.

So Yes, absolutely use it. BUT Call Rust Bullet and get details on how much solvent to add. Ask for Allison.

Thanks for that. Can I just clarify what you would recommend to remove the existing coating. Are you suggesting I apply solvent or should I just diamond grind the surface?
