I used up the last of my Rust Buster penetrant, and went into the warehouse to pick some up. the shelf was empty. So, I asked the counter guy if he had any in the back somewhere. He didn't think so, but would check the computer to see if they had an order in.
Then the fatal phrase, "uh oh". (Here it comes, I mused to myself). "Seems the manufacturer had put a hold on it. The State of California says one or more of the ingredients are carcinogenic, so, the manufacturer has stopped shipping it till it gets re-formulated. In other words, the new stuff won't work!" His words, not mine.
But I was thinking them real hard!
I walked across the street to another warehouse, bought the 3 bottles they had of the NOS stuff. Has been a great product for getting rusted parts separated, so, if you like it, better make a run soon and get what you can.
