Doh, got my Mac sidebox back from the strip-clean place today and realized there is a hollow space between the outer panel and inner panel with no real way to paint it. Here is the box from my previous post before stripping:
There is an access hole at the top of each inner panel and a drain hole on the bottom of the unit for each side.
Short of drilling out each spot welds, painting, and reassembly...I can only think to plug the bottom drain holes and pour paint in from the top access holes to keep the thing from rusting from the inside out.
Any ideas? What would be a good paint and come in a dang gallon!
