Hello,
I am new to the forum thought I would post some pictures and a small review on the Rust-Oleum garage floor epoxy.
I started by using a concrete cleaner/ degreaser scrubbed the entire floor and used some other heavy duty degreaser on some tough spots, then pressure washed it let it dry overnight.
Next I used muriatic acid mixed it in a standard 1 gal weed sprayer and applied it to the floor to acid etch the concrete. Pressure washed it again after acid was done reacting.
I let the floor dry for about a week, then I applied my gray Rust-Oleum Epoxy spread it in 4x4 area and rolled it with a 1/4 NAP roller (applied Mocha flake).
I made the mistake and did not apply the clear coat within 48 hours....
. So I lightly sanded the floor with 80 grit sand paper ( Rust-Oleum recommended this step). Cleaned it then applied the clear coat with anti-slip additive. ( make sure you stir it frequently when applying).
Here are a few pictures of the process not the best but gives you an idea.

After cleaner/Degreaser
Acid Etch
After Acid Etech ( Very rough)
First coat before clear ( the lighting is weird and makes it look blue... Maybe the baby blue paint on the garage ceiling the previous owners did

The Garage door closed (ITS GRAY!)
After clear coat
Overall I am happy with it I will update on how it holds up ( tire lift etc)
Thank you!
