"Rust" Stains On Concrete Porch

I would like to redo my porch and I'm considering coating my concrete with something, that "something" I'm not yet sure what it will be but I do know I have these horrible rust (?) stains on it that I would at least like to remove.

They have been there since we moved in about 5 years ago and I have never bothered to remove them. For all I know a bit of degreaser or vinegar will get them off, who knows.

With that out of the way, what would you recommend I use to remove them and to coat the concrete porch? I'm in North East Ohio.

CLR or muriatic acid?

I had similar stains from rust. Son's truck battery was leaking. He poured some baking soda water on battery to remove it. Leaked onto the driveway. I tried muriatic acid and power washed it. Didn't remove anything. Has now been there for 6 years.

Okay. I'll try it out and hopefully get better results

I used Rid O Rust on my slab, the whole thing was that color from when using our well water to slow cure the concrete.

Worked great.

Thanks for the recommendation. Will look about purchasing it locally.
