Rusted Rotary PAL 5E

I have been parking my truck in front of this pile of trash and junk now for 5 months. Yesterday for some reason my eyes focused on what was in the pile. Turns out to be a rusted Rotary PAL 5E lift or what's left of it. I would almost be tempted to approach the boss about this but it looks like the adjustable arms are missing unless they are buried on the bottom somewhere. I don't know is it worth anything in this state? Would the arms cost more than the ting is worth? and it seems the pump is long gone to.

I found this pic online of a PAL 5E with all it's parts. This is what it should look like with the 4 adjustable arms.

It's worth its weight in scrap. If you don't have arms I don't think it would even be worth looking into. The pump isn't cheap either. Find out why its out there. But hey if you can get it for free you might have a cool project there!

I wouldn't give more than about $200. I would say find out what parts you need, blast it, powder coat it, then put it all together. I would just get a cheep pump.

I believe you're talking at me. No longer there. The thing weighed a ton and it was the dead of winter last year with snow every weekend. I was in no shape to wrestle with it in the cold and didn't put up a fight when the scrap guys came. The cyl was no good unless it was able to be rebuilt. The unit had sat outside I was told for about 10 years. The main reason i lost interest was the arms were missing and it I didn't see myself getting this thing going within the next couple of months. The plan was to get an 8 ton HF cylinder on it. But where to get the 4 arms? I have a bad habit of projects sitting there for years and I had no room for this one. The boss let the scrape guys take it along with an 80 gal compressor tank that to my knowledge was good.

Yeah everyday i went to work I saw those 50 landscaping blocks sitting on it. They weigh 75 lbs a piece. After work I just got in my car everyday and went home. Too tired to mess with it.

Guys, I bought a Rotary PAL 5E for 500 dollars, it's my first lift and I'm exited but I can't find much information about it, if anyone have the owner manual of another Rotary lift that even if it is not the same could help me to have some ideas, could you send it to me?
Some of the questions I have: it has holes to bolt it to the floor, is this absolutely necessary? can I put a car on it facing any direction of the lift? thinking that if I can load the car with the engine in the opposite end of the hydraulic I would have more space to work under the engine.
