I just realized last year when I sprayed muratic acid on my floor to etch it, a couple of my anchor bolts must of gotten hit with the acid and are rusting.

So I’m considering throwing a couple more down.

Would you guys throw more down or just leave them?

I would think the acid bath would clean the rust rather than make rust. If you calculated how long the rust would take to impact strength, it would be a very long time. There is actually an advantage to using rusty anchor bolts (roughness improves bond). If you are designing a bridge where continuing salt is a problem and the stresses are high then epoxy coated is a advantage.

If you were closing in the walls I would for good measure. Otherwise not till they look deteriorated

Wash them off with baking soda water it will stop the acid. Then leave em alone.

That’s what’s got me considering it.

Finishing the walls.

Yeh, that info might help.

The walls.

I just put in six half inch x 6 anchors because my foundation straps weren’t close enough to the ends of the wall sections. Hammer drill and a couple new bits and I was done in under an hour. Cheap insurance to keep you from wondering
