Rustoleum Clear flat hammered spray paint

For those hard to match hammered painted items. Has anybody used the Rustoleum flat clear hammered spray over a color that matches the original color? Does it work well or produce a similar looking match?

We are going to need you to take one for the team, order a bunch to test out and then do a thread on it.

Well, I just bought one. A little pricey. One can is $20. Now I'll have to find the base color I need and then do a testing thread.

Most of the finishes we work on aren't flat -- they're at least semi-gloss, if not higher. But like everyone else, in for the info. Thanks for giving it a try, @Blackmarket

Personally, I would be most interested in something with a bit of gloss, like Satin level.

Me too. But I only found two options. Flat and Frosty? No semi gloss or just gloss.

Easy: Give it a coat of satin or gloss as a top-coat.
