Rustoleum Epoxshield Advice Requested

The last task on my new garage is the floor. I decided to put down Rustoleum Epoxyshield based on my previous experience with it. I bought the material and upon reading the instructions found that it requires a temp range of 50 degrees to 90 degrees F. I am in north GA and we are having 48 degree lows and 70 degree highs. Has anyone been in the same situation? I called Rustoleum and they said it needed 50 degrees to cure properly. Not sure how long it needs 50 degrees after installation.

If I cant get this down, I will probably get RockSolid as it can go down to 40 degrees.

Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated

Bert

unless you really really need it down... i would wait. we have rocksolid on our new slab and there was an issue with bubbles earlier in the summer. i contacted rustoluem and they are going to send me another kit but said i needed to wait til next year to put it on. in NC, similar weather to you.

Hi,
You may be able to get it done, remember the outside lows are not the interior or floor temp lows. A small electric heater hanging on the wall could help too.

Decided to not take a chance and took the material back today. I am going to wait until spring. Thanks Bert
