Rustoleum Epoxy to Armorclad

Hey everyone! I am redoing my Rust-Oleum tan colored epoxy floor in my garage. We did the floor about 5 years ago using the Professional Rust-Oleum line and we finally started seeing yellowing of the epoxy near the garage door from UV light and had a spot that peeled from concrete top cracking.

After much consideration of what brand and color scheme to use, we decided to use Armorpoxy's Designer Gray. Before we lay the new floor, we are currently in the process of grinding the old epoxy off. I am using a grinder on loan from a family member, but it is a slow process--nothing that time and beer can't fix though.

I am painting the walls and ceiling a flat white with the though of it being the easiest to touch up and give the garage a car showroom like feel.

I can't wait to up you all as we go, looking forward to the ARMOR upgrade!

Done Grinding, paint on the walls tomorrow and then a final pass to clean anything that may drop. There was a heavy broom finish in some spots that my grinder was not able to level out. The old coat never peeled so I am hoping this will be ok.

Hi, thank you. Make sure you get the primer with it since a grinded floor should always be primed since the become rather porous from grinding.

Thank you, please contact us directly if you need any tech or install advice, since the GJ is not always monitored.

Thanks for the tip Armorpoxy! I did order the primer and upgraded to the 2 part top coat. You can see I have a lift and can be pretty rough on it.
