Hi,
My rustoleum floor has developed a hairline crack after the house is now a year old. Is there anyway to fill in the crack without recoating the floor? I used the grey color rustoleum epoxy paint. Is it normal for the floor to get a crack after a year? Both sides of the hairline crack are level.

This is normal, just sounds like the house/floor is settling. I'd use a gray caulk that's close to the color of the floor.

Like Jay said, hair line cracks in concrete are normal. This sounds like it is just a shrinkage crack. You don't really need to get concerned about it unless the crack becomes more than 1/8" wide or the two sides of the crack are not level with one another. How large is the slab section that cracked? Do you have any control joints in your garage?

My garage has a tooled joint (maybe 1/2" wide x 3/4" deep) that runs the full width and full depth of the garage. I've thought about filling off and on since I coated my floor last fall. I was originally thinking some sort of colored caulk but I'm starting to rethink that. Caulk will always attract dirt, oil, etc. more than the surrounding epoxy and will constantly look dirty - nothing you can really do about it. Call Rust Oleum and see what they recommend for this instance. I'd be intested to know myself.

I would just use some Rustoleum Epoxy Concrete Patch. The color is even real close to the epoxy....
