Looks great!!! I have an office area and a bathroom I was going to do this to. Does the floor need to be sanded? Mine is a new concrete floor. This won't have cars on it...just foot traffic. I planned on two pro kits at only 320 square feet. Did you cast your flake on the last coat or on both?
Thanks
Jim

I etched the portion of the floor that was new concrete. Two kits will give you more than enough product. Only put the flakes on the second coat. I would recommend that you also put down a good clear poly as a top coat. Good luck, once the prep is done it is pretty easy.

I believe what you have is a clear epoxy which for your purposes will be just fine. I used a aliphatic polyurethane which is more durable but also has a lot of VOC's, it has been several days and I can still smell it which is why it is not recommended for use indoors.

Most urethanes designed for use over epoxy should never be used outside. The tight molecular lock will create moisture issues, ghosting.

Ventilate well while installing and keep the ventilation going while it cures and the smell will dissipate much faster.
