I searched the few threads here on this and read a lot of negatives, frankly. I think the majority of the users used it on wooden decks.
Unfortunately, I don't have any "Before" photos of this deck but trust me it looked baad. It had been painted white and though most of it was adhering well, it was bady stained, there were surface cracks all over it and a couple of worse cracks that required filling using the pre-made stuff sold at Home Depot by Quikcrete. None of the cracks were over 1/4" deep, but in a few spots they'd had widened to 1/2".
Here are the results:
...and a close up of the texture with the "Restore" brand 9" roller cover:
This is two coats from the 3 gallon can they sell at Lowe's which left about 2" at the bottom. I had to buy more for a 2nd deck but went to Home Depot which only had 5 gallon cans. They also sell a different 5 gallon can for $20 that is rated for automotive traffic, whereas the standard stuff specifically says not to drive on it.
I am VERY impressed with it so far despite what others said. It's rock hard after 24 hrs, though the label says it takes 5 days for it to "cure".
