Armor Clad and Epoxy-Coat are both 100% solids epoxy with an average dry film thickness of 10 mils with better abrasion and wear resistance.
The RockSolid polycuramine garage floor coating is about 3 mils thick. In our opinion it's a better DIY kit than the typical home improvement low solids epoxy paint kits such as EpoxyShield, but it can't compare to a quality 100% solids coating.

There is lots of information on this topic already in this forum. Depends on what you are doing in the garage and the time and money you have available to spend. Do some research and you can make an informed decision about what fits your needs.

As Shea mentioned, lots of good info on the forum. Spend a few minutes using the search bar. If you do go with a Solids Epoxy, do yourself a favor and use a primer. Many have benefited from that advice.

Check carefully into Rock Solid as to exactly how much material (ounces) you would get for your money. You may be disappointed since too little material equals little protection.

Definitely will order a primer. I have about 500 sq ft and plan on using Legacy Industries. I am planning on using Epoxy-coat for the base coat w/UV additive and not going to use flakes. I do not think I will put down a polyurethane topcoat.

Generally speaking most manufacturers don't recommend using two different company's products since then you have no warranty if there is a failure or peeling. We sell our Armorclad kits with matching primers and also just recently announced a special end of Summer 40% off sale. Our Armorclad is a 100% solids coating system and the use of topcoat is not required.

The primer that Legacy Industrial uses is compatible with the Epoxy-Coat product. Epoxy-Coat does not offer a primer.
Wait no longer than 24 hours before applying the base coat and no sooner than 8-12 hours to apply it depending on temps.
