Rustolium EpoxyShield Clear

I coated my garage floor last fall with the EpoxyShield Industrial and used the fleks provided. The finish is kind of blotchy looking where I did not get a good thick coating...I've got coverage, but some areas dried flat and some are semi-gloss. I guess this is common with this product if you dont give it a second coat. My question is if anyone with a similar problem has tried putting the Rustoleum clear epoxy over top? Did that give your floor a more uniform finish?

It might work, but the best thing to do is to put down a second coat. You may need to scuff up the surface before recoating. Can any Rustoleum experts verify this?
