I bought a bundle of rusty wrenches at a garage sale today. They were bound together with what appears to be .020 stainless safety wire. I bought them because I am stocking a service truck that sees little use, but that use is far away from its home base. I don't care if there is light rust on a wrench, as long as it works properly. Since there were were 12 wrenches in the bundle, the rust wouldn't affect their usefulness, I could indentify several quality USA brands, and the price was $5.00, I took the plunge.
The inventory:
Globemaster DOE 5/8x3/4 (OK, this is a fail)
The rest were combination wrenches.
Indestro Super 1/2
Vlcheck 3/4
Billings Lifetime 13/16
P&C 2728 7/8
MAC 15/16
Herbrand 1232L (2 of these!) 1"
None Better 1171 1-1/16
Duro Chrome 2236 11/16
Duro Chrome 3324 3/4
Duro Chrome 2238 7/8
Oddly, I found another Indestro Super 1/2 combo in excellent condition at another sale!
The Billings and the None Better are the first I have seen.
