Would it be advisable to install lighting high along the side walls rather than on the ceiling in an RV garage with 16’ ceilings?

Our garage houses both our RV and an enclosed trailer so there isn't much light coming down from above either of them. On each side of the garage I installed our lights as those areas are (for me) the optimum work and open spaces. On the ceiling down the middle of the garage, between our RV and the trailer are lights which seem to work well.

Our prior RV had a sun roof (dome) so over that I did have a light installed on the ceiling which helped with inside lights whenever we were in the RV prepping it.

In my RV/storage bay with 16' tall ceilings I installed my LED lights a few feet out from the wall on one side and then about 12' from that row which allows the coach's width to easily reside between them and still illuminate all the way to the floor.
