We just bought a 17' Toy Hauler and now need a shelter for it. I'm looking for something about 12'X24', 12' high with only 1 side wall that goes down about 6'.

This is going in close to the house so I want it to look nice. I don't want the ones with the rounded eves and the ridging going the wrong way.

I looked at constructing it pole barn style but the price came in between $8,500 and $10,000. I just started looking at the metal vertical shelters and they are coming in at $2,500. These have a frame made of rectangular tubing. What I really wanted was one made with round tubing but I can't seem to find one. I could have sworn I seen that type of construction before buy where?

If you have any ideas that would cost around $2,500 let me know. Thanks

If it were me, out here in the boonies.

I have a jig that bends the common galvanized top rails/pipe for chain link into 16' arches. Bought it for making a green house.

Set 4x4's for poles and skin top and one side with steel of your choice.

The pole barn price was for 12x24? That's $30 to $35 per square foot. That seems high.

I don't know if Menards exists out there but I'd at least check their online calculator and see if a RV shelter option exists on their pole barn calculator.

Metal carport will fit your needs, they can build any size and height.

They can and im sure they will...if they show up.

My parents live about 2hrs from NYC. They put half down to have a metal carport built fo there RV. 6 months go by and every time my father called they said next month. Well just before it started snowing he canceled and had to go through hell getting his deposit back.
The following spring he built one him self. Ordered and had all the lumber and metal roofing delivered from a local supply house. He needed help for a few things from a neighbor, mostly setting the 20ft 6x6 posts. He rented a auger and used an electric cement mixer, thats the only major equipment he used. He ended up saving a few thousand dollars and got a way larger overhang than they could do in metal car port.

I've been in contact with All Steel NW who uses kits from Itiels in Woodbury Oregon and Lexington Hardware in Kelso Washington that uses Kits from West Coast Metal buildings who are in Salem Oregon. So, none of the kits are are built by the person that sells it. I was ready to put down the 12% and place my order but I decided to check the reviews first. The reviews were mostly terrible and it seems this is common in the metal building industry. I'm still researching this.
