RV2 A/C compressor on a Speedaire tank?

A while back my old Speedaire compressor pump took a ****. The tank and motor are in good shape. I was digging around last week and realized I have a extra RV2 compressor from a 76 Valiant. Has anyone ever tried to fab a car compressor to a electric motor?

York/Tecumseh AC Compressors typically found on Ford Products through the 70s and 80s have been used quite well for air compressors, On and Off vehicles...

I have seen one used on a tow truck and the AC controls to run it.
and a Semi Air Accumulator tank for a vessel

Don't know the RV2 but if it has a crank case and oil reservoir it will probably work fine, if it uses refrigerant oil in the lines then probably not
