I have a Ryobi 18 volt drill, charger and 1 decent battery. I don't use power tool much. But they're stuff is cheap.

I've never used a battery operated angle grinder and never used a leaf blower at all.

Would the angle grinder have the power to wire wheel old crusty vises clean?

And would the leaf blower be worth a ****?

I have the ryobi grinder. works well. only use it if I am not near an electrical outlet. it does drain the 5ah batteries pretty fast IMO. can't comment on the leaf blower as I don't have one. I have 4 of the HF corded angle grinders that I use all the time. I have each with a different type of wheel/wire cup etc. I have the ones with the paddle style on/off lever. they work well for me.

Ryobi makes decent power tools for light-duty use. IME small compact batteries don't have the endurance for extended use in saws, grinders or leaf blowers. My Ryobi leaf blower + 4Ah battery it's only good for a quick cleanup so keep a few batteries on hand. No problem with drills or impacts. My Makita 18V grinder is good for light grinding jobs until the grinder gets warm and the warning light gets triggered.

Ryobis brushless grinder is several steps above the regular grinder and worth the extra money, imo. A 5/6ah battery at the very least to run it.

As far a leave blowers, the couple I tried were anemic at best.

Have both and have two of the leaf blowers, smaller one is good for cleaning the mower before storage, bigger one a quick blow of a suburban driveway & sidewalk after mowing. Too many trees for me to leaf blow with electric. As for the angle grinder it's new to me a couple uses for grinding mower blades and a cutoff wheel worked fine, but I have plenty of batteries. I too use a hf 4.5" for anything that's going to run a while.

I have the 18V leaf blower, and it's fantastic and very handy for various cleaning chores, but it certainly isn't much good for piling up vast stacks of wet leaves. I use the hell out of it for cleaning up grass clippings, sawdust, etc. from my garage and small suburban property.

So no, it's not really a "leaf blower". But it is very handy. I get about 10 minutes run time (so around 30 minutes of use) from the little 2AH battery that came with it.

The 18V weed wacker works astonishingly well. Again, not enough runtime for a 1,000 acre ranch, but it will easily get around my standard suburban lot.

Instant running and very quiet. I got rid of my gas-powered **** the very same day.

I have two of the Ryobi One 18v angle grinders: one with a flap disc the other with a cut-off wheel. They work great. Also the kid has the small leaf blower, great for cleaning out the garage and blow-drying the dog but if you want to move a lot of leaves get the bigger version.
