Ryobi 18v

I have a Ryobi hp1802m that Im sending back.Well I decide to charge the batterys and the yellow & green light stay on the charger and it never goes to red.They will not hold a charge,which they did 2 months ago.Is this a battery or charger problem.Its a shame as its old but used very lightly,and is like new.Tried a search but found nothing.Any help would be appreciated.

I'd call Ryobi and ask them.

On my batt, when I get both lights, it meant the batt was bad. How old is it?

if those are the batteries that came with your 1802, they are really old and dead. used very lightly is actually not that good for batteries. they can die just from sitting around discharged.
