Hoping somebody has a clue on this tool. It’s in its 2nd season and intermittently refuses to run. It has two triggers. I guess it’s a safety feature.
Amazon reviews are about the worst I’ve ever seen for any tool. Two pages of discussion over on City Data forum w/ no fix.
Battery is fully charged, contacts are clean, no binding in the head unit, I’m suspicious it’s an electrical fault as the trigger is a variable speed control.
Thanks in advance.
Jim

I used to have one of those.. pretty decent machine. On mine, the charger refused to charge the battery. $80 battery on a $100 tool is a hard no.

Looks like the switch is $30-ish depending on your model. Not much to go wrong in there other than the switch. Appears that the switch has two connections, battery and motor. IIRC, the motor isn't brushless, so testing it should be fairly simple.

Thanks Tod, Dang thing worked fine today. Im thinking it was a false “battery fully charged” indicator.

I thought they have a 3 year warranty.
Sounds like I have the same one, no troubles with mine so far. I do have the brushless unit.
