IME compact Ryobi batteries sucked and were DOA so with these new 6Ah batteries my old 4Ah are my new "compact"

For anyone with Ryobi and Milwaukee M18 tools - there's a guy in the Milwaukee thread selling M18 battery to Ryobi tools adapters... I have one.. works great in my Ryobi glue gun

Could not be more right!!! The all black and grey ones were junk.

My store did not have the 6's on display. They have, or I should say had, the 3's in the starter kit. I was there 2 days ago, and they had plenty, plus the vacuum I wanted. Yesterday, there is 1 starter remaining (already opened of course), and I settled on trying the boombox. Not going to use the batteries, just in case they get the vac, then I'll re-buy them with that.

Hopefully the reception is a huge improvement over my current unit, bluetooth & USB charging are welcome additions to

Not sure if all the Ryobi deals are in every store. It just happens that my local HD is a "heavy duty" store with a big Milwuakee section and tool area.. I'd hope at least the batteries were in every store - but they might be available online as well..
