Hello all,
I have been having a hard time identifying the right chuck for a used Ryobi drill press I picked up. It is a Ryobi DP102L it has 30 gear teeth on the chuck and my digital calipers read 0.23" (15/64 ???) for the diameter of the pilot hole. The chuck is stamped 1.5 - 13mm JT33. I have researched that to mean Jacobs Taper and I believe that is more about the mounting method than something relating to the chuck key. But not quite sure. I reached out to Ryobi and they could not help. I purchased a Ryobi multi-chuck key from Home Depot that they recommended but it does not engage all the way. The one that fits the best turns but the gears don't mesh enough to put any meaningful torque. The diameter of the pilot hole is fine (15/64ths) but the overall diameter of the gear head (about 9/16) is too small.
I have research the heck out of this. Any ideas I can try next? There has got to be an online resource that has the full specs for drill keys somewhere?
Thanks!
