Has anyone used this stand with the HF 12'' sliding miter saw? I didnt realize until I got home that the box said don't use with 12'' or larger sliding saws. It seems pretty sturdy but I cant really judge the function of it until I get the saw mounted.

The Ryobi stand can support a heavy saw but the design could be affected by where the saw is mounted and especially during any weight transfer as the saw is moved within its slide range. I would follow the recommendation stated on the box. I've had good results with the Bosch TS 2000 for the table saw and T4B for the mitersaw. Cheaper good alternative is the Ridgid

Well since this was already brought back from
The dead not that long ago I'll give it another bump with an honest question.

Do you think that mounting a bench top drill press to this stand would be ok? I've read that the stand is rated for something like 400 pounds so I know it could easily hold
It. Long as it would safely bolt on I can't see a reason why not?

Also, with the width and the load capacity is anyone putting more than one tool on at a time?

I have this exact setup and I can so, no, do not do it. I thought it was holding my saw just fine until I looked at it again from the side. When the saw is in the back position the weight of the saw twist the tubes and make the saw lean back about 1/2" from level. I'm definitely looking for an upgrade that can support the weight of the 12" saw.

I've got a 10" Makita slider on mine and it sags back the same. Poor design, heavy, awkward to move. For $50 shipped it's slightly better than nothing.
