I have bought a lot of stuff from Directtoolsoutlet.com Both their stores (located near outlet malls) and online. I had gotten a Ridgid hybrid fan for $25 (blemish) and a bunch of recon power tools. Definitely sign up for the mailing list. Anyway this is what i got in the email today https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com/specials and it included the Ryobi nailer which has gotten great reviews from what I've seen. Thought i would share

I have the Ryobi 15ga Finish Nailer, the 18ga Brad Nailer, and the 23ga Pin Nailer (i have a side business making rustic wooden flags). I have never had an issue with any of them. I did not buy used though, but I have bought other used tools from Direct Tools. They have worked well. The nailers, as complex as they are, may be better purchased new IMHO.

I have the 16 gauge Airstrike nailer. I bought it used from craigslist. A little cleaning, and oil, and it has served well. I have been looking for the others, but still prefer pneumatic when it is more than a few pieces, or a tight space.

Thanks for posting jgromada.

I recently purchased the 18ga brad nailer and like it a lot so far.

I got mine at HD. I paid $99 (the current "new lower price") and used a Lowes $20 off $100 coupon. So basically $80. I'd rather pay $11 more at HD for a new unit, but to each their own.

I'd like to get the 23ga pin nailer now, but haven't seen a deal on it. Directtoolsoutlet doesn't sell the 23ga nailer from the looks of it.

I’ve had this for a couple of years now and really like it. So easy to just grab it and knock in a few nails. Much easier (and quieter) than dragging out the little pancake compressor. There have been a couple of times it was too big to fit in a tight space, but that is the only complaint I have with it.

The only thing that annoys me is HD does not know the word SALE which is what an NLP is. It may stay that price for 2 months or 2 weeks but an NLP is not a new "regular price" so if anyone likes it at $99 buy it now rather than later.

I have the 18g Brad nailer. I’m on my second one. The first one the drive pin bent and would occasionally miss firing the nail and jam. It kept happening, even after lubrication. Home Depot wanted $80 for a repair. I bought a new one for $129 and tossed the old one. New one is now doing the same. I use it quite a bit at work. Now my 15g, that I use rarely, is doing it. They don’t work well in hardwoods either. I just ordered and received two Milwaukee’s as replacements. I’ll see this week how they fare. Milwaukee claims they will drive a 2” nail into oak.

I've got the 15ga angled Milwaukee and like it, but a carpenter I am NOT

Got it last year when ToolUp was blowing out the kits for $199 - couldn't say no to a kit at that price.

I have all 3 of the Ryobi ones including the stapler. Never no issues here at all.

I have the craftsman version of the 18ga, and it's been great. I only use it a few times a month though. I have had to clean & oil the pin as it actually got gunked up and stuck in the forward position once.

Yeah the downside is they are physically larger than a pneumatic, but the upside is no need for a compressor / hose...

My neighbor loves goes to the Direct Tools store near Branson, MO. He finds a few good deals in-store only every time. They will have just random things marked down for one day only, next day they will mark down other stuff.
