Has anyone here recently purchased a two pack of the Ryobi P108 18V batteries for 99.00 and not had any issues? I bought a two pack about a year ago, and they just don't seem to hold a charge. I'm using the proper charger but when they just sit for say a week or so, they're down to one bar and dead. I've got three older P104's that will hold a charge forever and last longer than the P108's. I've even had Ryobi send me a replacement under warranty and it won't hold a charge either. I kind of wished I would have picked up a couple of new P104's years ago.

Sounds like a run of bad luck with your batteries. I have close to 15 P108 batteries...some several years old and none of them have had any problems as you've indicated.

I have six P108's as well as some older versions. While I try to rotate thru them, there are times that they don't get used at all for 2 - 3 months and they never seem to lose a charge. I do fully charge them after every use and keep them in the garage. I've been waiting for the day they give me problems, but so far I'm impressed
