I left 3 of my Ryobi packs out on the rain. Dang it.

I told myself it was just a heavy dew and put them inside to dry. I didn’t take any extraordinary measures.

When I tried to charge them, one worked and two showed as defective on the charger light indicator.

It’s been a week and I finally got around to opening them. Not full of water but some visible damage to the circuit board on one of them.

The batteries have voltage.

I’ve got them gently warming to fully dry. Next steps? WD-40? Or some weak acid to clean the crud off? Or a lost cause?
