S H Co. eleven inch pulley

Don’t know if this counts as a tool exactly, but it’s cast iron and pretty (to me), and with a little grease on the bearings would still work well. Should I blast it and paint it or leave the rusty ‘patina’ or somewhere in between?

Probably hang it on the wall in the shop, maybe hang a light from it in the house.

We always called these "well" pulleys. For raising the water bucket.

I have one, a little smaller at 8", that I actually use on occasion. I greased the axle, but other than that left it just as rusty as yours.
