S-K 49 piece socket set

Hey guys my dad's birthday is coming up next month and he's a hard man to buy for. After racking my brain for a bit I figure I've probably lost enough of his tools growing up that I owe him a nice set. I figure instead of going and just grabbing a craftsman set off the shelf that sk set should last for years and hopefully have a little more sentimental value. Anyone have any experience with this set? Been looking at it on harry epstein.

Assuming your talking about the 3/8" drive set, If so its a Solid set and the Case makes it nice for transporting to Jobs etc.. I think your pops would definitely appreciate the gift.

How big of a set are you wanting to get him, and hate to ask, but how much money? Those two things determine a lot.

Haha I can't argue with that but I'm lucky enough that he hasnt kepta tab all these years I figure this is a good start of paying him back

I really love the 12 point set (I have both). They are hard to find and more expensive usually. I don't know why.
