Must be a local. Nice to meet you! That thing's been up for months now. I wouldn't pay the $35 they want for it myself...It's got a lot of damage in the other pics. It looks like it's all relatively easily fixable but still...

I would be curious though if you went and looked at it what else they have for sale.

Howdy. I only saw the pics on line. And after everyones input (thanks everyone) it doesn't seem worth while.

A few other things got me tempted.

10 bucks for a box of random drill bits... how could you go wrong :headscrat
Get plenty of practice sharpening. :D

And, a saw set. After looking for years, I got one a few months ago and now this.
(Looks pretty rough. Maybe missing parts.) (Maybe just some kind of punch ?)

That's the key, imo. If the seller is close enough to you, it's worth asking them if you can come by and look at it. Use that as an opportunity to see if they have other vintage tools for sale. You'd be surprised how many sellers list only one of many items they have for sale, hoping someone will come along and make an offer on everything. It's happened to me more than I can count!

If it were me, I'd offer $20 just for it because I need the front cover for mine. These boxes are getting harder to find!

Yeah I've been watching this guy for at least a year. He's gotta be an estate liquidator or a power flipper. His prices are usually too high for me and it weirds me out that he literally posts different items in like 10 different locations.

I've seen him post vintage craftsman for good prices before though. That may have been his letgo account though.
