Howdy folks I am wondering what y'all think of their extensions? I know SK is top notch and have never had any issues with their stuff albeit limited in my box. But their 40% fathers day promo is extremely tempting.

I have lots of them and they work great and I think the sale ends very soon so you need to get on with it. It may even end today if I remember .

SK is great. Honestly I have bunch of their newer sockets as well and haven't seen the problems that others seem to fixate on. Perhaps because I spend more time using them than looking at them. All of my regular sockets, specialty sockets, ratchets, screwdrivers, wrenches, extensions, are SK on my service truck. That is 1/4" drive through 3/4" drive. Save for one set of Wright Grip wrenches that are utilized when I need a second wrench of the same size. And I have more on the way from the sale promo.

Another thing I really like about their extensions, is the knurling towards the end, it allows better grip when spinning a fastener on by hand before grabbing the ratchet. I have the biggest sets of different sizes they offer in 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" of the regular extensions as well as a set of 3/8" wobble extensions and have zero complaints.

Very well made and high quality, in my experience.

I concur.

Unfortunately, their prices are higher than I would expect. Not quite Snap On, but the value isn't there in my opinion (at full price).

Maybe check out the Williams ones at www.toolsdelivered.com. Very inexpensive for quality USA made options. I don't think they offer the fancy versions that Snap On does though.

I like the ones I have, broke a 1/4 wobble and they replaced no problem. It took quite a bit to snap the male end with a long SO ratchet, was surprised it held up as long as it did.

the only extensions i like better are the MAC extensions with knurling on both the shaft of the extension and the ratchet end

but the price difference isn't quite worth it

I also received the email with the 40% Father's Day Promo Code (TOOLSOVERTIES) from S-K. Compare their discounted prices with any online retailer and you'll see a major difference. I love S-K Tools, but buying direct isn't the cheapest option.

The only place I can find that actually charges full price is the SK website and MSC. All other retailers seem to sell the tools at a 40-50% discount compared to list price.
