Made in America with Global Materials?

USA steel, USA forgings. It's not a marketing gimmick, it's a long-term business decision that we think will not only pay off in our community, but win on a business level.

Biggest reason you guys get my business. Other than the fact that your ratchets never die.

Now THIS is my kind of tool company.. Good Bye Craftsman...
+1....alot of people here ***** about craftsman quality and going over seas(i dont blame them). Sk is very good, american made, and the sets are reasonably priced on tooltopia. If u break something u can just call them and they will send a new one.

Here's a shot of our parent company's (IDEAL Industries) new manufacturing plant being built in our back yard in Sycamore.

I'll take it one step more, I'm happy to see a US manufacturer expanding in the Rust Belt, and not moving its operations into the Sun Belt. But thats just cause I live here.

As for corporate requirements and labels, when I worked as a stagehand in Atlanta, I used to work on Coca Cola gigs. Yes, people would get kicked off the gig for bringing in any Pepsi product. Seen it happen.

Is Ideal going to produce their electrical tools in the USA? If they do, I'll buy them online. All we can get here is the Southwire Chinese stuff Lowes sells.

IDEAL's long term plan is to repatriate 100% of the electrical tool line as well. We just took a big step with our new linesman pliers which are now USA-made with USA materials. If you haven't seen them yet, check them out: they are beefy but smooth as butter, with a couple of cool innovations.

Part #? Could use some new lineman pliers. And whatever you do, don't change the T Strippers!

That is excellent news! Is there a part number for the USA linesman pliers?

Never mind, I found them.
