S-K or Williams?

Have two identical long 3/4" extensions; one is vintage script logo Williams and the other is S-K (with the dash, not the dot.)

Which would you keep? I certainly don't need two of them. Leaning towards keeping the Williams because that's what most of my sockets are, but that's the only real reason I can think of. Is the metal used for either notably better than the other, or is it really just down to aesthetics? They are pretty much completely similar in just about all respects save for the logo on the socket end.

Ayuh,.... I'd keep 'em both,....

The day I got ridda one would be the day I need to reach twice as far to connect with a nut,....

Seeing as I use 3/4" drive maybe once a year at best, what are the odds of me needing TWO long extensions (which I don't think I've ever used?)

I would keep both myself, but if I have to only keep one, I'd keep the Williams. Especially since most of the sockets are Williams.

They are both about the same functionally. I've noticed used prices on like ebay, old US Williams commands maybe a 25% premium over old US SK. So the Williams might be worth slightly more today. That may mean you want to sell that one or it may mean you want to keep that one, either way. Now in 10 more years, when SK becomes more famous, those tables may turn on you! So there is that too. I'd keep them both or give one to a friend to use. - Paul

Man, you get worked up enough to start a thread over whether to keep an extension?

I'm sure they are both fine so I'd keep the one that matched my other 3/4" stuff. if neither do then I'd keep which ever one was in better shape, prettier or that I simply liked better. Ultimately it doesn't matter as they are both good tools.

I hope the op never looks at my tools, I must have 5000 extensions not in 3/4 but every size below that. OP you can never have enough tools, hell one for home, one for your shop, one for the road, one for a back-up to the back-up, one for the neighbor that wants it, one as a loaner at work...etc.

Keep them both. A man can never own a tool he don't need.

Just joking around. OP was talking about 3/4" drive stuff. I figure heavy equipment and truck guys have the big stuff in their trucks.
