Saw a general service set with sockets and wrenches with the S+K brand while traveling through France. Didn't have a chance to get more pics or find a COO on the box. Also owner of hotel where I saw these didn't speak English.

Anyone ever saw these? Any info? Meh tools, but still fun if anyone cares. (looks to be made for the Euro market with the satin finish and not missing sizes 16mm and 18mm)

I would approach those cautiously. They look like powder metal. Cheap to make but not very durable.

Didn't you pay attention in science class? Sodium (s) + (k) potassium = potassium sulfide. A colorless solid that doesn't react well with water. Just like the **** metal you see shaped like a socket. Duh

this...they have nothing to do with SK,you cound find them in auto part stores across the europe, before made in taiwan now coo is china i believe

I knew right from the start that these tools aren't related to SK. Low quality indeed.

just found it weird and funny to try and profit off the SK brand in Europe where few have heard of the brand. Kind of like selling Hazlet, Geedoor, or Stalvil in the US.

So you've seen these? Just a cheap auto parts store kit then?

You can't be serious. 3D printing is the most expensive, least scalable way to fabricate anything.

That's a shot blasted/peened finish.

yea, found a cheap Taiwan marked S-K 1/4 set at flea market but i decided not to buy it..actually i had a few 1/4 bit sockets which were pretty good. worst of all in the auto parts store they were not even that cheap, they had a blue blow molded case similar to real SK,so at last they decided to go with blue instead of green. i would say they are not that bad at all,but they are overpriced

Co-worker brought in some wrenches, "Snap-Off". Laughed my *** off and asked where he got them/offered to buy them off him ("Gift" idea for my brother who sells tools).
He got seriously bent, as he was convinced these were fine quality mechanics tools.
Man, I really want to find a set...
