I did a search and didn't find an answer so does any one know the original mfg. for snap on polishers? My brother needs parts for his and I'm trying to help him out.

I don't know who the maker is but did you try snap on for parts? They have a pretty decent website for parts. Also they usually offer a flat rate for repairs which isn't too expensive.

What is the item number of the tool?

Depends on the age. Some models (like my ET1460) were made by Black & Decker.

Thanks guys. Model # is ET1475. I never thought about snap on for parts. Snap on parts would that be on the snap on site or would they have something different for that.

U can look up parts on the snap-on web site by the part # of the tool. If its broken and its not super old. Just send it in for flat rate repair. Its usually $120 and they will rebuild it unless its just totaly junk!
