I posted this in another thread, but I guess I'll repost it here. Not surprising to me some people are dissatisfied with Matco and other professional tool companies.

Personally for me, when it comes to basic hand tools, warranty is of little importance to me, because after many years I've rarely ever had to exercise a warranty on many hand tools.
Exactly. The warranty thing is just a thing that gets constantly repeated around here. When prodded, the champion of such things is usually found to be abusing the tool. That is, using it for things it wasn't meant for.
What about the 'pros' who say they are forced to abuse their tools in order to get the work done in the flat-rate time allotted?
