Safety lock cable

Got a Norco automotive scissors lift and need to find a cable for the mechanical lock. Looks like a bicycle hand brake. No luck on google. Maybe i don't know the proper name. It probably can be any brand they must all operate the same.

I put "cable housing" into google and it came back with what I think are relevant results.

See also "bike brake cable" but its more specific to bikes.

I need a new cable too. Found some long ones using "extra long bicycle brake cable", apparently made for tandem bikes. My original cable measured at 14', could get by with one several feet shorter.

I have seen bicycle parts repurposed into several machines. There was a lot of engineering put into early bicycles.
