Safety vent grease fittings

Many years ago, my Dad purchased a few Safety Vent grease fittings. They work very well for things like lubricating sealed bearings.

I need to get a couple more- except having trouble locating anywhere to buy just one or 2 of each appropriate size. Only seem to be able to find one supplier who has them, but the minimum order is higher than I want to go.

What we do is remove the grease zerk from the housing on (for example) a sealed bearing pillow block, install the vented zerk, grease it, and remove it and put the original fitting back in. Or, we may use a pipe plug instead.

I may just try to make some from regular zerks- but don't have a milling machine. Thinking about just using a hand grinder to cut slots.

So, my question is whether anyone has a supplier that sells small quantities of them? I may just see how many zerks I can ruin trying to replicate what I want also.

These are what I'm after: https://www.huyett.com/h1927z3?utm_...5jElVQuuRQ-YsfR0JSYWYb2dyKQU8gGxoCc3QQAvD_BwE

McMaster has these, but for more $. Seems like you could make one in a few seconds with a pneumatic cutoff tool.
