Looks like Epstein has manual, but not 'automatic' ones.

I'm looking for a pair of either 25W or equivalent. The equivalents I have found are either the Gedore 8385, looks like its a rebrand of the 25w and the SK 7749 looks like a rebrand of the 26W or 41W. I don't know which. None of these are cheap; I mean relatively yes, considering it is high quality safety tools, but not 'cheap'. So I want to know for sure what I'm getting before I get myself some

I thought i rememberd a (Williams?) SO rebrand also but can't find now. All my go-to Williams dealers seem to be gone.

As a side note, is there a powered tool that twists safety wire? maybe a drill attachment? there are M12 tools for literally everything else right? I have one of these for electrical, but it also has a stripper blade on it so i wouldn't want to use it in this application.

Also a second side note, are there pliers of this style for working with rebar wire (16.5ga)? I know the typical rebar/concre pliers but having an automatic way to twist that would be quite handy especially for what I plan.

my snap on is a rebadged milbar. It's old, though. I've had it 20 years, and bought it used. so things may have changed.

Safety wire isn't as common as it once was. The cable has taken over in many fields I believe especially aviation.

Milbar.

The 2 direction work fine on small wire. .062" and up is a pain in the *** with it. The regular pliers work fine on that.

I never got many chances to use the cable, but it was a dream compared to lockwire.
