I thought I saw a thread on proper installation of safety wire, but I cannot locate it using search?

It seems silly to me now, but back when I was in school I remember having difficulty with installing safety wire until one day it clicked....

I remember an instructor telling me to physically pull on the wire at every bolt location and then imagine which way the head of the bolt would turn. If it was "righty-tighty" I had it done correctly.......then the lights went on! Jeez, I remember feeling so stupid that I was having a problem with this.

Thanks Mark!

Pictures is exactly what I needed!

Someone told me to install safety wire on the front wishbone of my model T. Well, I just went out and bought safety wire and ran it through the holes so the nuts wouldn't back off.

I was under the T this weekend changing the oil and the crappy, inadequate job I did reminded me of the post I referenced.

I will get it redone ASAP!

Thanks,
